Blackmar-Diemer Gambit 9.Qf3

Thom2 Christensen defeated Farid Mustafayev in the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit. Black played 5…Bg4 6.h3 Bh5 – the Teichmann Retreat Variation. One of the pleasures of the BDG is the kingside attack. Black misplaces the defense for a quick White victory.

Here is a book with 42 annotated BDG games I played in 2021. Hope you like them.

Sicilian Scheveningen Be3 Haines

Ray Haines mounted a successful queenside attack. This opening reached the Sicilian Defence Najdorf Variation and transposed to the Scheveningen with 6.Be3 e6 – the English Attack. White was slow to castle and wasted time with the light-squared bishop. Black took advantage of the opportunity. Ray Haines won with checkmate on move 25.

My Sicilian Tactics 1.e4 c5 has 500 combinations and mates.
