Yes, Rick. It was played in Vandenbroucke-gron, ICS 1995 (BDGKII Game 85 page 345), a game that was repeated via a different move order in Sawyer-guest, ICC 1997.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I only have Blackmar-Diemer Gambit Keybook I. I was surprised that the game: Vandenbroucke-gron, ICS 1995, you give is not included in your BDG Mega Database of 24000 games?
Horrible example of the opening ... black must make 4 tactical mistakes before that position arise.. including one from the white's side too... (i think this position will never pass again)
