Charles Greene approached me at a tournament 15 years ago with the nicest gift. We knew each other by reputation but he was on a mission. Before Greene passed away, he gave me a collection of Opening Adventures magazines from the 1960s. He wanted me to pass them on to someone who would promote the BDG to a future generation. I have followed that directive in writing this blog and publishing many BDG books. I remember USCF Master Charles Greene with this Blackmar-Diemer Gambit Teichmann vs Francisco Guadalupe.
