Blackmar-Diemer Huebsch Saeed

IM Nasser A. Saeed sent me this Huebsch Gambit blitz win vs GM Mark Hebden. The variation 3.e4 Nxe4 4.Nxe4 dxe4 5.Be3 Bf5 6.g4 is a critical line that seems to slightly favor White, but all that goes out the window when playing against a veteran grandmaster in an Internet Chess Club blitz game.

Black sacrificed the Exchange for two pawns in an effort to hold the position and counter-attack. Alas, one quick slip (see move 20) left him open to the tactic of removing the defender knight, with check no less. Suddenly Black’s queen was en prise and lost.
